They usually are good friendly and nice but forgot to give a small white rice and some hot mustard. I really can’t say anything bad. They been in Montclair a long time sometimes we all forget.

Bought 2 lunch items: beef with string beans and beef with eggplant with brown rice. Both portions were considerably smaller with only 5-6 thinly sliced pieces of beef. The food was delivered on time and still warm. Very disappointed in the much smaller portions. Wish I could post photos!

Food was average. I was looking for an alternative to New Jin Lin; this was not it. Food was fairly tasteless and non-descript. Delivery was fine but what they delivered was nothing to order again.

Everything was ready when promised, reasonably priced and just delicious. There are other Chinese take out options in the area-- but none of them prepare their food better than Golden River --- and the food from Golden River simply tastes better.

Golden River is my go to Chinese place. Delivery is always quicker than I expect, and the food is always consistently great. Great lo mein, great shrimp dishes, quality chicken and beef stuff too. No complaints.

The Sweet and Sour Chicken/Chicken with Garlic Sauce is really tasty. They do not deliver to AMC theaters any longer though their food is tasty.
